Project Description

H2Ontario Inc. has been awarded the Phase 2 Upgrades at the Port Dover Water Treatment Plant, located at 603 Nelson Street West in Port Dover.

The work will consist of upgrades to the main treatment processes, tankage and pumping within the existing building structures, replacement of the emergency generator, construction of a new wastewater holding tank, site piping, and restoration work.

The Water Treatment Plant site has been under construction for the previous couple of years, and this final phase of construction will complete the project, ensuring an increased capacity and a reliable water supply to the town of Port Dover. Generally, the public will not be affected by this construction; however, the ongoing construction traffic and site work require limited access to the plant premises. For public and workers’ safety reasons, we recommend accessing the beach at nearby locations until the work is completed.
