Road Safety Committee
The Road Safety Committee provides a cross-departmental perspective on road safety issues, promotes awareness and education for road safety initiatives and programs, and makes recommendations for improvement.
Items are brought forward from Council, the Police Services Board, staff, and through public inquiries/complaints. Members bring these road safety concerns forward, which are discussed quarterly, in order to find innovative solutions to ongoing traffic-related matters.
Public concerns are responded to by the committee coordinator following the conclusion of each quarterly meeting.
