Policy Statement

Purpose

To develop a policy with firm documented commitments to demonstrate the operating authority’s assurance that quality management is important in their management and operation of the drinking water system.

Scope

This policy must be communicated to all operating authority personnel, the owner and the public. The policy will be available through records management software (Compliance Science), posted at the Cedar Street Water & Wastewater facility, and on the County’s corporate website.

Policy Statement

“Norfolk County is committed to providing a safe, reliable supply of drinking water to all municipally serviced customers, while meeting or surpassing applicable regulations and legislation.

Norfolk County will maintain and strive to continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring the effective management and operation of the drinking water systems.”
