You can access live and archived videos of Council and committee meetings on our YouTube channel, which features live captioning for accessibility.

Council-In-Committee, Council, Public Meetings, Board of Health, Committee of Adjustment and Polices Services Board Meetings are available online at Norfolk County’s YouTube page. All meetings are open to the public except as provided under the Municipal Act, 1990.

Live captioning

Live streams feature live captioning to improve accessibility for people who are Deaf or hearing impaired. Viewers can turn on live captioning by selecting the “cc” icon in the bottom right corner of the live stream.

Closed captioning is generated using artificial intelligence, so there may be inaccurate spellings or interpretations of words depending on the speaker’s speed, accent, and word pronunciation.

The public can access Norfolk County meeting videos from 2017 onwards via the Norfolk County YouTube Channel .

The videos are organized by meeting type. YouTube has automatically applied captioning to our videos, which may not be 100% accurate. If you have any issues with the video content or with the closed captioning, please forward all questions/concerns to Customer Service Information at inquiries@norfolkcounty.ca.

Before 2017

Digital copies of Council and Council-in-Committee meetings before 2017 are available by request only. In some cases, digital copies may be unavailable due to technical difficulties.
