Accessible Street Signage

Accessible street signs are intended to warn drivers that they are approaching an area in Norfolk County where a person living with a disability resides. Additional caution should be given when travelling through these areas.

Currently, no Canadian or Ontario traffic warning signs deal with disabilities. Norfolk County allows for the installation of street signage that combines the Universal Symbol of Accessibility with a section identifying the specific disability.
