Paying a Parking Ticket
Our enforcement officers promote and enforce compliance with our parking and traffic bylaws to help keep the community safe.
Norfolk County issues parking tickets and fines or penalty notices under Norfolk County Parking Regulations 2011-189 and its amendments.
Please contact clerks@norfolkcounty.ca if you would like a copy of the by-law or amendments.
Payment options
A reduced “Voluntary Payment” option is available for those who pay their parking ticket within seven days. The lower fine amount is listed in red on the ticket copy. This is your least expensive payment option.
Within 15 days of receiving your ticket, you must select one of the three payment options. If you do not exercise one of these within 15 days of receiving the ticket, you will be deemed not to dispute the charge, and a Clerk of the Court may enter a conviction against you in your absence. Upon conviction, additional costs will be added to the total payable.
