Norfolk County’s seasonal watering restrictions and guidelines help conserve water and maintain a sustainable community.

Water Restriction By-Law

As per Norfolk County's Water Restriction By-law, residents must limit their outdoor water use from May 15 to September 15 to the following:

Water from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. only
Houses with odd house numbers can water on odd calendar days
Houses with even house numbers can water on even calendar

Newly planted sod is exempt for the first 24 hours following installation (when requested, proof of installation date must be provided).
