County facilities such as community centres, museums, libraries, fire halls, pools, arenas, and parks in each Ward will welcome community members to attend free recreational and socio-cultural activities throughout the event.

St. Williams Ball Diamond – Family Fun! NCPL will be providing games, family activities, and story walk! St. Williams Lions and St. Williams United Church will be providing refreshments, goodie bags and fun giveaways! Meet & Greet with Norfolk County Firefighters! The Norfolk County Fire Department will have a fire truck and firefighters on site, come say hi, ask questions, see a fire truck! 6 – 8 p.m.
Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre – Free Public Swim 6:45-7:45 p.m.
Houghton Fairground Hall – Free Outdoor Family Movie Night! – Come get some Free Popcorn courtesy of Uncle Bobs and join us for a screening of “Wonder” hosted in partnership by EarlyON and the Norfolk Community Help Centre. Rain location: Houghton Public School Gym – 7pm

Vittoria, Town Wide Yard Sale – Annual Vittoria town-wide yard sale. Yard sales at several Vittoria residents, and the Vittoria Foundation will be set up at the United Church, offering chips, candy and water for sale as well as Vittoria flags. Membership forms and Boosters will be available. ABEL Enterprises – 447 Queensway W, Simcoe – SMASH-IT – take a free whack at our Smash Room in exchange for a non-perishable food donation. Must be 16 years of age with parental consent. 12 – 5 p.m.
Waterford Tricenturena Arena – Skate with the Greats! – Hosted by the Norfolk County Sports Hall of Recognition, this free event will allow participants to meet and skate with Elaine Chuli, a goaltender with the Montreal team of the Professional Women’s Hockey League. Pre-Registration is required at www.norfolksports.ca 1130 a.m. -1 p.m. There will also be a meet after the event from 1 – 2 p.m.
Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre – Csiga Noodle Bee – Hungarian women would traditionally meet every weekly in the winter, working together to make Csiga noodles for themselves and the neighbourhood. We want to recreate this community spirit and gathering with a traditional Csiga work bee. Join us as we mix, knead, roll, and form this iconic noodle together as a group. No prior experience needed. Wind-Del-ebration! Come join us for some family fun at Wind-Del Park. Free Magic Workshop! Pre-Registration Required. – Join 4 time Guinness World Record holding Illusionist Lucas Wilson as he takes you behind the scenes in the world of magic! You will learn the trade secrets of magic and learn how to make simple magic props at home! Each child will leave with a magic trick they create during the workshop. Under the Pavilion. 11a.m. -12 p.m. Bouncy Castle Obstacle Course, Free Father’s Day Car-B-Que – in honour of fathers day, dads are encouraged to cruise on by for a free BBQ hamburger in their favorite car, motorcycle, truck or event tractor! It could be classic, new or daily driver! 11-3pm.
