Fall registration for Rec programs open Aug. 16
August 15, 2022 – Norfolk County’s fall recreation programs will open for online registration beginning Tuesday, Aug. 16 at noon.
Details on programs offered can be found inside the pages of the Fall/Winter Recreation Program Guide – there is truly something for everyone, regardless of age or skill level.
In-person and virtual courses are offered for adults and seniors of all ages. They include sports, games, fitness, skating pickleball, line dancing, art activities, social events, and more. New this fall, we’re launching a new recreational adult hockey league – no need to sign up a team as individual players are welcome.
Aquatics offers a variety of programs to keep you and your family active and safe. Join in the fun and sign up for preschool, school age, private, adult, or advanced leadership courses and begin your journey to become a lifeguard.
Recreation staff has planned a variety of children and youth programs ranging from activities such as a brand-new ball hockey league, and sports and more to princess makeover, chess, cooking, and learning to safely stay home alone. For the school aged kids, there is PA Day programming and a variety of holiday day camps.
“Our qualified team has been working hard to ensure all members of the community have a program to enjoy,” said Nikki Slote, Norfolk’s Director of Recreation. “We are looking forward to seeing some familiar faces as well as newcomers getting out and being active this fall.”
