Water Main Assessment (Port Dover) - June 26, 2024

What are we doing?
- Conducting condition assessments of the buried water mains.
- A condition assessment survey will be performed using vibrations by attaching sensors to hydrants and valves.
- The water supply will not be interrupted during the testing, and no digging or excavation will be required.
Where?
- Nelson Street W. & St. George Street
Why?
- This service will inform the County on whether existing water mains are structurally sound or need to be rehabilitated or replaced.
When?
- Estimated start date: July 8, 2024.
- Estimated time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
