Norfolk County is advising residents enrolled in the Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) plan for property taxes about potential delays in receiving notification of their updated monthly payment amounts for January 2025.
Although postal service resumes today, Tuesday, December 17, the County cannot guarantee timely delivery of letters traditionally mailed in December.
While Norfolk County is committed to minimizing inconvenience caused by the postal disruption, PAP participants are encouraged to utilize the following resources to remain informed about their tax payments and avoid disruptions.
- Confirm payment details online: Updated amounts will be available through the County’s online property tax services at NorfolkCounty.ca/VirtualCountyHall starting December 17.
- Contact ServiceNorfolk: For assistance in confirming new payment amounts, please call 519-426-5870 or 226-NORFOLK, extension 0, or email askus@norfolkcounty.ca.
- Monitor bank withdrawals: January withdrawals will reflect the new amounts as calculated for your property tax plan.
Residents should review their banking details to ensure sufficient funds are available for automatic withdrawals.
Norfolk County offers three options for Pre-Authorized Payment Plans, including equal monthly payments, payments aligned with installment due dates, or customizable monthly withdrawal amounts.
