Norfolk County is now accepting requests for tree planting along County-owned roadways as part of its 2025 Spring Tree Planting program.
This initiative supports the County’s efforts to preserve and enhance tree canopy coverage by maintaining trees and replacing those removed for maintenance. A limited number of trees are available each year for roadside planting.
Property owners interested in participating are encouraged to submit a Tree Planting Request to have their property frontage assessed for suitability. Applications will be reviewed based on site suitability for the species available and processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Requests must be submitted by Friday, January 31, 2025, to be considered for the spring planting program.
