Norfolk County announces that all remaining Budget Committee meetings for 2024 will now begin at 9:30 a.m.
Additionally, a Special Council Meeting will be held immediately following the Budget Committee meeting on October 31, 2024, to consider the adoption of the proposed 2025 Rate Budget.
Norfolk County joins the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, and other municipalities across the province in recognizing Local Government Week from October 20 to 26.
Norfolk County is currently addressing a water main break on the transmission main located at 274 Front Road, between Port Rowan and St. Williams. Crews are on-site working to repair the break.

Residents and businesses participating in the weekly curbside recycling program will not experience any changes. Norfolk Disposal Services Ltd will continue to collect curbside recycling.
Norfolk County’s Paramedics team is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Health will provide one-time funding through the Dedicated Offload Nurses Program to help ensure a more timely and efficient transfer of care for patients arriving at Norfolk General Hospital by ambulance.
