Norfolk County is pleased to announce that Sarah Page will become the General Manager, Health and Social Services, effective October 2, 2023. 

The Norfolk County Agricultural Hall of Fame will induct the late Irene Anderson, the late Hon. John S. Martin, and Kernal Peanuts Ltd. at a ceremony on September 10.  

Norfolk County is reminding residents that there are some changes to programs, facilities and services throughout the Labour Day weekend and into the statutory holiday Monday.   

With ongoing construction at the Norfolk County Administration Building in Simcoe, Council will hold the following meetings at the Norfolk County Public Library’s Simcoe Branch, located at 46 Colborne Street South. 

From August 20 to 23, Norfolk County joined more than 2,000 participants at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario’s 2023 AMO Conference in London Ontario.

The Government of Ontario announced on Monday, August 21 that it will provide additional funding to municipalities that meet home-building targets, and extend strong mayor powers to Norfolk County and another 20 municipalities that commit to meeting these targets.

For the second time this year, Norfolk County’s Environmental and Infrastructure Services Division is inviting residents to a behind-the-scenes look at one of their facilities. 

The annual Decoration Day event at Oakwood Cemetery in Simcoe will take place August 27. 

Norfolk County is calling upon residents to participate in the Mayor’s Affordability Roundtable.
