As per the Federal Government’s recent announcement, Norfolk County Council has approved September 19 as a day of mourning, to encourage staff to honour and pay respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
September 9, 2022 – Norfolk County is seeking public input for the 2023 budget.
Norfolk County joins the world in paying respects as we learn of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. We wish to send our deepest condolences to the Royal family, as well as citizens of Britain, Canada, and the greater Commonwealth who are mourning the loss of Her Majesty.
Sept. 7, 2022 – The County is aware that residents in Port Rowan are experiencing slightly discoloured water out of their faucets.
Aug. 25, 2022 – A total of 48 candidates are certified to run in the 2022 Municipal Election in Norfolk County. The candidate nomination period closed on Aug. 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. The official list of certified candidates, including those on County Council, and School Board trustee, is as follows:
August 18, 2022 – Norfolk County’s next Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Event will take place in Simcoe at 591 Norfolk St. South on Saturday, September 17 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
It’s back – Norfolk County Archives’ annual Genealogy Symposium will return Sept. 17.
August 16, 2022 – With the 2022 municipal election fast approaching, residents should be mindful of some key information that comes with it.
August 15, 2022 – Norfolk County’s fall recreation programs will open for online registration beginning Tuesday, Aug. 16 at noon.
From August 14 to 17, municipalities across Ontario will have the opportunity to meet with provincial ministers and parliamentary assistants at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario’s 2022 AMO Conference in Ottawa.
