Norfolk County is currently seeking interested applicants for appointment to a Municipal Elections Compliance Audit Committee for the 2022 Municipal Election. The term of office for this committee is four years beginning Nov. 15, 2022.
On July 13, Standard and Poor’s (S&P) published Norfolk County’s credit rating, affirming the AA/Stable rating.
Norfolk County (County) has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) to implement an approximately 20 km length transmission water main that connects Simcoe to the Townsend Water Supply System, to secure water supply from the Nanticoke Water Treatment Plant, including a new elevated water tank and booster station.

Norfolk County has been made aware of several coyote sightings in the residential subdivision area of Yeager Ave. (east side of the Norfolk Golf & Country Club), Victoria St., and Werret Ave., in Simcoe over the past several weeks.
Norfolk County will soon implement a seasonal parking pilot that will affect the waterfront communities of Port Dover, Turkey Point and Long Point.
Norfolk County’s rating has been revised upward from AA-/Stable to AA/Stable.
